What
is ‘YOUTH ALPHA’’? It is a practical introduction to the
Christian Faith and is aimed at young people in Secondary school, both
those who go to Church and those who do not. Sessions are based
on ‘food, friends and God sends’ and includes a bite to eat, drinks,
games and activities, a short talk on a given topic and a chance to
talk with others and discuss these issues outside of the ‘school’
kind of situation. Our young people are invited to use this
chance of finding out more about their faith and to begin to find some of
the answers to the problems of life. Young people or parents can
contact St Mary’s Presbytery on 01509 262123 for link-up with the
Leaders of the course. See also the website: www.youthalpha.org/whatis
