Two Understanding CAFOD sessions at St Mary's
Loughborough on September 9th and
23rd.at 7.30pm Everybody
is most welcome to attend. The sessions cover our vision, mission and
values and rootedness in CST and scripture, the story of CAFOD, where
we get our funding and where it is spent, how we work internationally
through and with partners for long term development, emergency relief
and in helping to challenge the systems which keep people poor and the
work in the UK and in this diocese in particular. There is a mixture of
PowerPoint presentation, reflection, discussion, practical activities,
sharing experiences and questions and answers. Even those who have
supported and/or volunteered for CAFOD for many years and think they
know us, have always learnt new things! Thank you in anticipation. Best
wishes, Marie Molloy Diocesan
